This interactive installation of wreaths welcomes partons/ participants to take a wreath with them to use as they like. As wreaths are removed the installation patterns will changes, some spaces will be filled again others will remain empty.

Working with nature is cyclical. A never ending process. These wreaths celebrate the monotony and magic of maintenance. Invasive wisteria and honeysuckle vines are twisted into wreaths and displayed for viewers to be able to take. The magenta wreaths are painted with ink from pokeweed, a NJ native and aggressive plant that takes consistent maintenance to keep from taking over.  This calming collection of natural rings changes the landscape of the wall scape like the natural landscape changes as we clip, cut and prune.  A  trail camera captures humans in the “wild” as people move among backdrop of natural wreaths.
