I interviewed individuals to create a series icons based off their stream of consciousness answers starting with the words ‘angel’ and ‘demon’. Those images were then printed on fabric and transformed into couture pillows. It was a study of how one person’s angel is another’s demon with the pillows representing the place that we rest our heads, objects we hold on to for comfort, and decorative clutter.
